In this article, the author assesses the way U.S. President George W. Bush handled the issue of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The author said that Bush became a revisionist himself when insisted on his administration to tell the truth about Saddam Hussein's WMD. However, based on intelligence reports, it is possible that the Bush administration deceived the U.S. people about the WMD and the situation in Iraq. The author said Bush continued to ignore how that deception will affect the credibility of the country abroad. And then, the U.S. people themselves are starting to believe that the president overestimated the number of WMD in Iraq.
