Letters to the Editor

The Nation welcomes letters -- no longer than 300 words (the shorter the letter is, the more likely that it will be published). Please include a postal address and phone number. We may edit letters for reasons of space or clarity. We publish as many letters as possible, but inevitably a backlog develops, so please bear with us. The Nation reserves the right to publish your letter, unless it is labeled "not for publication."
